During my war correspondent years.
Welcome to my website. Thank you for dropping by.
I am a native New Englander, though I’ve lived in a few places around the United States and have travelled a fair bit. For the most part, I have never been far from the sea, even though I rarely get into it. How can you love the sea and not the beach? If you knew what dwells just offshore, you would not ask.
I have a few degrees. Most were focused on paying the bills. Let’s not talk about those here. The important one is from the University of Southern Maine’s Stonecoast MFA program.
My fiction has appeared in an anthology. I’ve also authored non-fiction works. I’ve been on the staff of and the Genre (Popular Fiction) editor for the Stonecoast Review Literary Journal.
I live with my wife in Massachusetts not too far from the other Cape (Ann).
Whether through words or pictures, I love a good yarn. I also love a shanty that tells a good story and pen my own at times. It’s taken me years to understand that storytelling is my vocation. With that in mind, readers should understand that I make stuff up. ‘Nuff said.
